小红帽英文版故事简短
Once upon a time, in a small village nestled amidst the lush green forest, there lived a sweet little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was called that because of her favorite red cloak with a hood, which she wore everywhere she went. Her mother loved her very much and one day decided to send her on an important mission.
"Little Red Riding Hood," said her mother as they sat by the fire, "your grandmother is feeling unwell. I have baked some delicious cakes and a jar of honey for her. Please take these to her, but remember, stick to the path and don't talk to any strangers."
With a cheerful nod, Little Red set off into the woods. The forest was full of life; birds chirped melodiously, squirrels scampered around, and flowers swayed gently in the breeze. However, deep within this serene beauty lurked danger.
As Little Red walked along the winding path, she met a cunning wolf who had been eyeing her for quite some time. The wolf greeted her with a sly smile and asked where she was headed.
"To my grandmother's house," replied Little Red innocently.
The wolf thought quickly and devised a plan. He suggested that she pick some flowers along the way since it would make her grandmother happy. Little Red agreed and wandered off into the woods while the wolf dashed ahead to reach her grandmother’s house first.
When the wolf arrived, he found the old woman alone and quickly swallowed her up! Then, he disguised himself as the grandmother using her clothes.
Meanwhile, Little Red continued her journey, picking beautiful bouquets until she reached her grandmother's house. Knocking on the door, she entered to find someone lying in bed wearing her grandmother's nightgown.
"Grandmother, what big ears you have!" said Little Red, peering curiously at the figure.
"The better to hear you with, my dear," replied the wolf in a hoarse voice.
"And what big eyes you have!"
"The better to see you with, my child."
"And what big teeth you have!"
"The better to eat you with!" cried the wolf, leaping out of bed to chase Little Red.
Just then, a woodsman passing by heard Little Red's screams. Rushing inside, he fought the wolf and saved Little Red and her grandmother. The wolf was punished for his wickedness, and everyone lived happily ever after.
This tale teaches us always to be cautious and never stray from the path when we're out alone.
